West End is a suburb in Palmerston North, New Zealand.
Location and Population
West End is located to the south west of Palmerston North Central and had a resident population of 4,383 (2001). The suburb is fairly large with its boundaries being Botanical Road and Katene Street in the W, to the S is the Manawatu River, to the NW is Main Street West/Pioneer Highway. There is a boundary between Palmerston North Central and West End at Cook Street, therefore the suburb does not include Seventh Day Adventist School. On the E is Fitzherbert Avenue.
