Romford Ice Arena
historyRomford Ice Arena is a sports venue located in Romford, Havering, England.
It is the home of the Romford Raiders ice hockey team. In addition to ice hockey, the venue has resident professional figure skating coaches. The arena is also used for public skating, as a conference centre and party venue. The building is owned by Havering London Borough Council and leased out.
The rink has been the subject of two fires over the last few years.
In December 2007 the ice rink featured in the below BBC christmas ident.
the ice arena was going to be knocked down and rebuilt with additional features like a gym and pool, but they just decided to renivate inside.
