The trademark title held by the Channel Swimming Association King of the Channel is awarded to the male swimmer who has completed the most successful male solo swims across the English Channel. It is currently held by Michael Read The first person to complete 17,19 and 33 crossingswith 33 swims to date.
The King of the Channel is a big yearly rowing race in the Netherlands between the cities of Middelburg and Vlissingen and especially between the Roosevelt Academy and the Hogeschool Zeeland.
