Ignition (song)

history

"Ignition (Remix)" is a single by R&B singer R. Kelly from his Chocolate Factory album in 2003. The song was a remix to the previous "Ignition". It peaked at number 2 in the Billboard charts in the United States and number 1 in the United Kingdom and Australia that year. Kelly wrote, produced and arranged the song. This was Kelly's third UK number one as a composer and his most successful, spending 4 weeks at number 1 and selling 550,000 copies to become the second best selling single of 2003 in the UK.

Akon's song "Don't Matter" from his second studio album Konvicted is sampled from this song.
